Textured gatefold sleeve designed by Adrian Boot and ‘unknown artist’, photography by Adrian Lyne, 7201 date code (January 1972) and printer’s credit “Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd” on inner gatefold.
Label notes:
Uk 1st pressing information must include the following –
“THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD” around rim of label
EMI box logo on label
“MADE IN GT. BRITAIN” at bottom of label
Note there are non-EMI labels also in existence which are believed to be old stock labels used up by the printer – the release date is several months after the switch over to the new EMI label so both versions are the first pressing, non-EMI labels are much rarer.
