My latest book is on B&C Records, a label very closely affiliated with Charisma Pink Scroll. They shared manufacturing, marketing, and even the same catalogue numbering system. B&C was short-lived and suffered the fate of financial difficulties, some would say ‘irregularities’ – read Keith Christmas’s interview for details on that!
There are new sections for singles on pink Island, CBS orange, B&C Records, Charisma pink scroll and Mooncrest as well as a rare addition on Vertigo. Click the labels to go to each singles section featuring Traffic, Titanic, Atomic Rooster, Nazareth, Rare Bird and Manfred Mann.
More singles to be added to each section as they are acquired. Keep coming back for updates.
Here’s some more additions to B&C Records featuring the Wild Angels live rock ‘n’ roll set at the Revolution club. Also, a nice addition to pink Island with the orange and black graphic design. And finally a Dawn Records release from Mungo Jerry in the ‘Miscellaneous’ section.
Several new acquisitions have been added to B&C Records, Pegasus and Gull Records. Click the sleeves to see the album pages for Shirley Collins and The Albion Band, Three Man Army, Ginhouse and the soundtrack to ‘Silent Witness’:
Very hard to find original from 1970 on B&C Records, Hannibal were managed and produced by the same team as early Black Sabbath (Jim Simpson and Rodger Bain), were signed to the same publishing company (Essex Music International) and even had the album sleeve photographed and designed by Marcus Keef!
Shame they didn’t enjoy the same early success as Sabbath…
