I suspect this label sampler came out either just before or just as Deep Purple In Rock was being released. Track 1 on the album comes from In Rock yet there’s no illustration of the album cover on the inner gatefold. Also, the Pink Floyd track ‘Embryo’ was not previously available either on album or single.
